Using "Winc" for the first time, first I was truly impressed with the ease of ordering. 2nd, when the wine arrived, I was equally impressed with the selection they sent, matching my personal tastes in wine! 3rd, the wine was exquisite! More than I expected! 4th, I just spoke with customer service regarding my second shipment. I wanted to make sure I was home from work for the arrival of the wine (signature et al) , and "Alex" was awesome. I was advised that on shipment an email would be sent with a tracking number, so I would able to know the time of delivery simply by contacting Fed X. Very easy! The company is very personable;
I really love this service! I was given a free box to try and now I look forward to seeing my FedEx driver, each month. I love that you can choose which wines to get, switch out something you think you may not like, or be surprised. It's introduced me to new wines that I thought I'd never like and changed my "taste".
I gave my mom 3 months worth of a subscription for Christmas and she said it was her favorite present she'd ever received. I found the setup process easy, it was easy to control which wines you get, and it was easy to skip a month and cancel the membership at the end. A bottle broke in shipment one time and they were super proactive about letting me know, picking a replacement, and sending it out quickly. Again remember this is a subscription service so expect accordingly, but it's run very well in my personal experience. And the wines are really good!
